I am trying to receive data from a machine using the RS-232 port. And I have to be listening for data constantly as the operator may send the data at any time. I am trying to use the serial connector instrument, but all I was able to do was open the connection, but beyond that there was nothing else that it did. Any ideas on how I should proceed.
