Creating auto-backup

Hi,

Is there a way for turn-off or set up more time to the auto-backup setting?

I got this:
02:06:37 PM LocalDBManagerImpl Creating auto-backup of internal database “settings”…
02:03:22 PM LocalDBManagerImpl Creating auto-backup of internal database “settings”…
01:08:46 PM LocalDBManagerImpl Creating auto-backup of internal database “settings”…

When I’m on the designer, and this process starts, my designer freezes.

Any suggestion will be appreciate! :thumb_right:

What version of Ignition? This sounds like a side effect of the ever-growing-internal-database-bug that IA recently fixed (v7.7.7 & v7.8.2). How big is a gateway backup?

Hi,

My Ignition version is 7.7.6. I know that I need perform the update to 7.8.2, but I need first solve some administrative stuff and upgrade my machine (also the server with more RAM).
I just wondering if “a temporal solution” exists…

My autobackup is more than 500 Mb. :frowning:

I’ve used it (my backup was over 150MB, and after using this tool it shrinked to 30MB)

And I also recommend to wait for 7.8.3…

In 7.8.2 there’s a bug, that you get no tags after upgrade, if you have many tags with alarms…
