SVG’s are the way to do it (they aren’t the only way to do it, but they are probably the best way). Don't get me wrong, Inkscape is great for authoring your own SVG's, but without a little knowledge you can produce bloated SVG's that don't help with an already performance fragile environment. Make sure if you go that route, that you know how to export Optimized SVG's for use in Ignition.
