During initial creation of a DB Tag, I’m finding that the Value property isn’t assigned if I have the Access Mode set to Read_Only. Instead, I have to set the Access Mode to Read_Write during the creation of the tag in order to assign the tag the Value I’m specifying. Once the tag is created, I edit the tag and set the Access Mode back to Read_Only.
I can’t confirm this is happening with OPC Tags as well since I don’t have access to any devices at the moment …
