CSS Theme Change Issues

Hello!
I made a minor change in a css file (dashboard.css) and the change seems to be reverting every time the gateway restarts (testing in dev environment). Why is this? Should I be making this change elsewhere ? I don't like the border of each tile in the dashboard, I'm just removing it so you cant see the outline of the tiles.

ignition version 8.1.28

Did you read the README file in the themes folder? It explains exactly what is happening, and what you should be doing. (Yes, should be making the change in your own theme.)
