I see all types of gauges and tanks and things that I can link to tags my projects.
But what I was wondering is how I could create my own custom components to add to projects, just to give a different kind of look and feel.
One way would be to use the existing component set and the drawing tools to make your own templates. In 7.7 there will be a way for users to share templates they’ve created both privately and publicly.
Alternatively, and much more difficult/advanced, would be to use the module SDK to develop your own custom components. This requires experience programming with Java and a lot more time though.
How would I go about getting a developer key to develop some custom modules? This does interest me greatly, before I was a programmer I was a graphic designer… So I could make some cool things.
