I want to log specific tags from AB PLC to my Linux machine. The Logging rate ca be from per min to per 5 min. Since my Linux machine is installed on CF Card, can I store my data on External HDD (USB Connected)?

Your historical data can be stored any way your database software allows you. If you can specify an external drive in MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, etc., then this can be done.
