After joining our SCADA PC to the company domain, we randomly lose a complete 10-second history timestamp for all tags. It worked fine in a workgroup.
Setup:
1.Ignition and the database are on the same physical PC
2.Logging interval: 10 s
3.The only change is workgroup → domain. No policies have been applied yet.
Problem
A full timestamp is missing for all tags. For example, we get a row at 1:00:00, then the next at 1:00:30 instead of 1:00:20. The problem started the moment the PC joined the domain.
What we've checked:
1.Antivirus is not a suspect, because the same software ran fine in the workgroup.
2 To rule out the gateway-to-DB connection, we disconnected the DB. Store & Forward cached the data, but that timestamp is still missing.
So the data seems to be lost before it reaches the DB or Store & Forward, not during the DB write.
Question
What changes when a PC joins a domain that could make Ignition skip a whole logging cycle? What should we check on the Windows or Ignition side?
