Data Transfer Solution Between Ignition Edge and Tool Gateway Post-EMO

Current Situation

  • Two gateways exist: one on the tool and another running Ignition Edge (on the touch panel)
  • During EMO events:
    • Tool gateway shuts down and stops logging
    • Ignition Edge gateway (touch panel) remains active and continues logging
  • After EMO reset, tool gateway comes back online but lacks the data collected during downtime

How to resolve this issue?

Here in the states, emo has a different connotation.

I recommend not powering down the gateway. It's power should be separate from the tool itself.
