Databases is not in my Config Menu. I am using the trial.
You must have installed Edge instead of Standard. Edge does not allow database connections.
So I need to uninstall Edge and install Standard?
That's the simplest. Supposedly, you could edit ignition.conf
to take out the edition clause, but I'm not sure that will actually result in the same environment as an original install.
I am new to this so I sorry if these are dumb questions and thank you for your quick help. Are Ignition and Standard the same download?
For PC architectures, the main download covers all editions (except cloud--that isn't available as a download). You would be asked during install which edition you wanted to use. The smaller download for Edge can only install Edge.
You might need to completely wipe the install folder before installing Standard.
It doesn't give me an option when downloading or installing. The only thing that I can add or remove is modules.
Did you download the Standard version installer
Here you can find a video: Installing Ignition on Windows Video at Inductive University
Sorry didn't see your post before I posted the last one. No that is not what I downloaded. I will try that now. Thank you.
Use the Typical install as well.
