Can the Datetime Slider Component be configured to select start and end dates using calender popups?

Anyone have a comment to this or would most of you just use popup calendar components and bindings?
You can bind the Start Date and End Date properties of a Date Range component to the Date property of a Popup Calendar, you can also make the binding bidirectional. Is that what your asking?
