It appears that the background-color cannot be set in a style class for the Multi State Button in the selected state. I created the style class Selected shown, which sets the background-color to green. I assign this style class in defaultSelectedStyle. Notice that the style class for Unselected works and it works in the Selected style class for the text color. However, the background-color of the selected button is dark blue instead of green as in the style class.
