Hello.
I am installing the Designer in my user only and when I try to launch the Designer it is not starting up.
I see the following error in Windows Logs
There might be some logs in the gateway too i think, dump those here.
Anyways best to call support

This looks like an issue that was resolved in 8.1.43. I would try upgrading first.
