I am using ignition maker Edition version 8.1.13. The URL is displayed correctly when I open Designer Launcher and select Add Designer. However, when I select open designer to run the program it just downloads some files for a cash then nothing happens. So, I cannot use designer launcher.
To solve this problem, I have done the following:
I uninstalled and reinstalled designer launcher and ignition maker several times
I deleted the cash memory
I have used Java 10.0.2 and Java8
But also, the problem is not solved. Thank you for helping me to solve this problem.
I think you mean ‘cache’ (store away in hiding or for future use) and not ‘cash’ (money in coins or notes, as distinct from cheques, money orders, or credit).
The launcher creates a log file that shows the final java command that it tries to use to open the designer. Find that command and paste it into a terminal window to run it from the command line. It will show the debug output in that terminal window.
Paste the text of the end of that output here. (Use the “pre-formatted” text button after highlighting what you paste to ensure it is formatted for us correctly.)
Find this file. Sometimes ends up in the folder you run the launcher from. Or in the .ignition folder of your home directory, or the Windows AppData directory.
