'Designer Needs to be Manually Restarted' After short Timeout

Sometimes my VPN goes in and out, only might lose connection for a few seconds, but when it comes back online I get this message:

Is there a setting somewhere that I can adjust so it doesn’t require this if I lose connectivity for only a few moments?

This is basically a bug (I’ve added this thread to our internal tracker). As a bandaid, apparently setting sessiontimeout.designer to something higher than the default 60 (via ignition.conf parameter in the wrapper.java.additional area) might help.
