Hi, bit of a vague question: I’m trying to connect a device to a server setup in the cloud. I have Remote Desktop connection and I’m able to setup the server and access the ignition server through my PC. For a trial, I want to connect a PLC to this server but without a firewall or router (this is only for a demo). If I leave my PC connected to the PLC, will I be able to add the device to the Remote Desktop?
No, your gateway in the cloud needs a path to reach the PLC itself.
