Devices log not showing errors as expected

I currently have some communication issues. I will sort them out myself, but I am curious how I best should use Ignition log to pinpoint this - and similar errors in the future:

I have 13 Omron devices connected and currently I see some datatype mismatch in the “status/Logs” page of the gateway.
However when I open the page “Status/Devices/Details” it says “No log entries found”.
-Is this working as intended?
-Is there another way of pinpointing where the “global” log entries originates from?
