I want to configure a tag of DINT datatype.
Let’s consider the energy tag in the screenshot. I have tried the tag address:
“ns=1;s=[Riedhammer Kiln]1.HRI113“
The value I am getting for it is 11166 while the actual value of Energy is around 200-250. In the device settings, I have disabled Zero based mapping and enabled Reverse Word Order. I also tried HRUI which gave the same result(11166). The value in quick client from gateway is also 11166. Is there any mistake in my configuration?
Did you try them one at a time or just both together?
What brand is the power meter?
To get started, I normally try my target register e.g. 113 and copy and paste and change to 112 and 114, then try reverse word order those.
Sometimes it’s a bit of trial and error, with HR, HRI, HRF etc
Use ModPoll or similar software to verify the register data in the meter.
Avoid the address mapping feature in the Ignition gateway.
