Disabling feature to remove pens in easychart

7.7.0 release notes included this item:

“Added Functionality - Easy chart pens can now optionally be user-removable.”

I cannot identify the property that disables the ability to remove pens. (The feature is enabled by default.) How does one do that? The pen control is simply a binary property that shows the pen control legend or not.

To clarify, this feature is available in the client, or designer in preview mode. As long as the attribute in a pen’s dataset called USER_REMOVABLE is true, there is a “X” that appears next to the pen name on the chart that allows a client user to remove a pen from a chart.
