When Ignition has a DNP3 connection to a device, it doesn’t apply the quality indicators from individual points. For example, the wireshark capture in the attached screenshot shows a situation where the DNP3 indicator for ‘ONLINE’ is not set in the response from the server yet Ignition never shows the tag as questionable quality. It appears as though Ignition sets quality based on its connection to a device and does not consider the information contained in the responses from the server.
Is there any chance of this being addressed?
