How can I download the user manual for reference while I’m offline?

I am aware that the manual is subject to change as updates are released, but I’m often offline while on-site and need access to the manual. It would be nice to be able to download the manual quick, before I leave, so I can reference it while offline.

It is a bit hefty, but there is a PDF download you can find on the bottom-left of https://docs.inductiveautomation.com

So I take it there’s no local copy on the gateway anymore? It used to revert to the local copy if it couldn’t reach the manual online.

EDIT: I understand if not, as the download size has gotten a lot larger with Java tucked back into it.

Not in all of the 8.X line, for a few reasons:

1. It was quite chunky
2. It was quite out of date pretty immediately
3. We kept finding people who were inadvertently hosting it on their public gateways and having it indexed by search engines

That explains why I kept finding links to the Ignition manual on google that weren't on an Inductive Automation domain
