Why is downtime recorded durring breaks & lunches? Or is it recorded and not used in the OEE calculation?
Break or lunch should be the active downtime event for the line and the line should be down for that period so it records the time as planned downtime and does not count against OEE.
The system gives you the ability to change the initial downtime event to a planned downtime event if required (operator selectable downtime).
If the line is not down then the time will be counted toward run time in OEE.
