After the update that changed the themeing/UI look, the dropdown component has a styling issue where if it is searchable, the text is aligned to the right, while if it is not searchable, the text is aligned left as expected.
What version are you using? This was identified as an issue, but appears to have bene repaired as part of 8.0.16.
