Easy Chart - Changing Selection Highlighted

I am trying to set up an easy chart to be easily used on a touch screen. All functions are done and simple to use except for changing the highlighted region of data (the blue box). I was wondering if there was a way to change the width of the box, either changing the the left or right end of the "Selection Highlight" with a left and right button.

I didn't see an option on the left side of the Vision Property Editor that would change this size

The blue box is just whatever range of data the chart itself is showing. If you change the "mode" to manual, you are in charge of setting the start and end times and can use scripting/bindings to do so.

changing that setting made the "Data" section have the Start and End Dates available for binding
