Easy Chart: Database pen error

You might need to enable "Legacy Database Access":

Database Access from Client Issue

If you’re using a pure SQL Query binding (as opposed to a Named Query binding), you need to enable permissions at the project level. In the Designer’s menu, select Project > Project Properties. Now locate Vision > Permissions in the table to the left. Enable “Legacy Database Access”. You can also specify roles if required while you are here. Click OK to apply your changes. Save the project.

Though I'm not 100% sure if it applies to the Easy Chart but it's worth a shot
