I am doing some work on a project that has an easy chart configured to a database. Occasionally the data displayed does not match the PLC, the ignition tag table, or the SQL database. The change in the data is very slight, the tag will show as X.00 in the plc and then show on the trend as X.05. It does not seem to be consistent. The issue was noticed on the production machine, but I have a test setup for troubleshooting and it happens to different tags on the production machine vs. the test setup. Is there any reason that the easy chart would change the data?
I am using tag history. I recently changed the deadband style to discrete to try to mitigate other issues that were popping up with the trend, so this was already set to discrete for all history enabled tags when this issue was noticed.
