Ecostruxure OPCUA Expert subscription problem

Using Ignition 8.1.45 and Schneider Electric Ecostruxure OPC UA Expert. The latter is the newest version of what used to be called "OFS". It publishes tags from Schneider PLCs without the need for Modbus addressing (ie located data). The OPCUA Expert specifically provides UA service.

Igntiion connects to the UA server just fine- in this case I am using no security or encryption, it is a test system all on the same PC. Ignition OPC Quick Client can successfully browse the OPC namespace and can create subscriptions, read and write. The tag browser can browse the namespace fine too. But when I create tags that create a subscription, errors begin to show in both the OPCUA server log and in Ignition log. Unfortunately the errors are very generic.

If I set the tag group to Polling, the server responds and I get good data. It is apparently a tag group subscription that fails. The server can handle subscriptions- OPC Quick Client in Ignition itself can create them... suggestions welcome.

You’ll have to upload your logs as a starting point. Wireshark capture of you adding tags and capturing the errors would be useful as well.
