I have an Igntion gateway with an alarm pipeline configured to send SMS and email notifications for all alarms in the system. I’ve added an Edge gateway recently that is configured as a remote tag provider to this “main” gateway. What I’d like to be able to do is have the alarms from this remote tag provider work with the alarm pipeline as the others do. After setting things up and enabling the “Alarms Enabled” setting in the realtime tag provider configuration it doesn’t seem like I can configure these tags to work with the alarm pipeline.
Is what I’m trying to do not possible? If so, what architecture would be needed to have remote tag providers that work with a central alarming system as opposed to treating each site differently?
