I have email alarm notifications working out of my Edge Panel (Perspective visualization) application.
I am struggling with configuring the message. It appears that all the pipeline configuration is in the gateway.
I went to the UDT for my test, digital alarm and tried writing an expression for the alarmed parameter's "Custom Message" field and could not effect any change to the message of the emails I am getting.
Still learning to navigate the manual, but could not find any help there.

Edit: I have a license, but haven't applied until I domain join the device. Am under trial.
Edge doesn't use full alarm pipelines, it uses a simplified alarm notification structure that's equivalent (as far as I know) to the 'simple one way' notification:
That said, it should still be using the custom message value from the tag (as long as only one message is being sent at a time).
