I've got an edge installation in trial mode right now and it will end up having 4 device connections once the license is active, taking advantage of the option to purchase extra device connections.
How can I go about adding device connections during my development, before I have the license key?
You can't, but it doesn't matter.
Upgrade. Edge changed again, and in the new Edge there are unlimited connections.

I think this all went into 8.1.33.
Currently on 8.1.27. Should be an easy upgrade, right?
Yeah, unless you're using one of the partner hardware that bakes it into the firmware image.
I don't know if there's a license refresh needed afterwards... might check with sales.
