Edge Ver 8.1.31 Backup issue

For some reason the link to http://localhost:8088/system/backup/partial
fails. Says it is not available?

This is on a VMWARE development Windows 10 Pro OS

I cannot make any backups to move the Edge project to its runtime machine...

Look in your gateway log for errors while the gateway attempted to construct the backup. (Lack of disk space, lack of memory, perhaps.)

There is 187 GB on the hard drive..

Log file contains this

java.io.IOException: Error creating backup.

That's ugly. You should contact support.

Interesting for sure....
Is there a manual way I can backup the Edge project??

I didn't install SQLite... Is that installed with the EDGE installation?
On the Ignition Gateway projects I install SQL separately

SQLite is a SQL-compatible single-file database used by Ignition internally for, among other things, the internal database used to store all gateway configuration. You don't have to install it; it's built in to Ignition.

That error Phil highlighted suggests something's gone very wrong with the SQLite process. I've never seen it before. You should really contact support.

You could try using the gateway command line utility (gwcmd), but I have no reason to think it would do any better than the web UI here.
