We're thinking of switching from a 3rd party to ignition alarm management but something that is keeping us from doing so would be the management of the alarms and the pipeline which is very easy with the 3rd party. We don't want to have them able to be in the designer editing stuff but still provide some sort of control over the pipeline and alarms. We have a very large extensive system for alarms and I was wondering does anyone have experience setting this up for maximum configurability.
I don't believe there is actually any way to edit pipelines directly from outside of the designer.
There is the script portion of the pipeline that could potentially grab some sort of configuration to guide the pipeline in some form or fashion, but I think anything you do will have to be pretty custom.
