I don't have any other Designers open, but 3 windows of several windows in my project have the little person icon showing, which is stating I am still editing the resource.
Wondering how to get rid of this.
In the gateway status it shows no designers open
I think it just happens sometimes that the gateway loses track. Closing Designer and restarting it should clear it.
The Designer has been opened and closed multiple times, and its still there.

You're going to have to restart the gateway. It's a bug in the gateway's session tracking logic. We're aware of it.
Ok, Will rebooting or restarting our gateway server do it?
Yes, although that's "more" than you need to do; the gateway is an OS-level service so you can restart it without restarting the entire machine, via the services panel/systemd, or our bundled gateway command line utility: Gateway Command-line Utility - gwcmd - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation

That's awesome.
Another workaround/fix...
First save your changes so they are applied to the gateway. Then tell it to "revert changes" which will unflag it as "dirty".
Edit: I should say that I can't say with certainty this will work every time but it has for me so far.
