Email Settings Trouble

Hello everyone,

I've created an email profile in my email settings and wanted to test it, but all I'm getting is the following error message: "javax.mail.MessagingException: Exception reading response; nested exception is: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out."

Is this message indicative of a configuration issue or could it be related to security and firewall settings, especially considering that I am working within a company?

Network or firewall seems most likely.

How can i solve this issue ??

Get a wireshark capture and/or involve your IT department.

This error means the server, or whatever you are actually connecting to, isn't responding.
