Embedded View - Reading params

Hi guys,

First post so please forgive me for any errors/lack of knowledge.

Is it possible to pass a parameter from a view being displayed in an embedded view, to the parent embedded view (the one ‘hosting’ that view)?
Ie. View A is the embedded view, View B is the view being displayed. Can view B pass a parameter to view A.
