Error launching a project in Designer or Client Launcher

I'm getting a error when I'm trying to login to launch a project. Trying to launch using Designer (Tools -> Launch Project ) or when I try to launch using Client Launcher. Same error in both.

I'm using a trial license not a paid one. Error description and details below.

The error message is "error during login"
The error Details " GatewayException: Error authenticating.
caused by GatewayFunctionException: Error authenticating.

Is there a stack trace or details tab with more information? Is there a corresponding error in the gateway logs after this? Are you sure you have the right credentials?
