Error launching application

Hi, I’m getting an error when I try to launch the designer. The exact error is “Error launching application: SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out”

Version 7.6
Java version is 1.6
Windows XP
I tried disabling the antivirus and the firewall and same error occured. I’ve tried launching it in IE and Chrome.

try enabling the Java Console and post the stack trace for the error. Additionally you can see if there are any messages in the wrapper.log file.
