Error launching FPMI Designer with Java 7

I’m having trouble launching a client on a computer with Java 7 installed. It’s reporting that an allowed JRE wasn’t found. I’ve added “1.7+;1.7.+” to the list of acceptable JREs. The login window does come up, but it throws a NullPointerException. I do see Java 7 is not even recommended for Ignition.

I’m going to try to get this machine downgraded to Java 6, but is there any way to work around this for the moment?

Not really, you need to downgrade to Java 6.

Are you using legacy FactoryPMI or are you using Ignition?

Legacy. Sounds like a good reason for me to finally get around to doing the upgrade!
