Errors Authenticating using Active Directory profile

When using the Authentication Profile of Active Directory the use of special characters in the AD folder structure returns errors when authenticating and retrieving roles.

I found that Groups with either / or () cause issues by createing an error or being ignored in filter searches.

They are probably conflicting with the LDAP protocol itself. Can you post the specific error you got? In the meantime I recommend avoiding the use of those characters.
