Euromap 77 on Ignition

Hello,

We are considering Ignition to supervise injection moulding machines. The new machines use the standard Euromap 77 which seems to be based or using OPC UA.

Does anyone have any feedback or experience using Euromap?

Euromap 77 as it applies to OPC UA is largely about standardizing the address space model and types present in the server.

As far as Ignition is concerned, you’ll just be making OPC UA connections to OPC UA servers and there shouldn’t be any issues.

I don’t have any hands on experience with this standard, though, so if anybody else has worked with it feel free to chime in.
