The documentation states that when using the Evaluate on Change historical scanclass, the Max Time Between Records setting will be ignored. I’m using Evaluate on Change now but I’d also like to store history every 6 hours. I can use system.tag.storeTagHistory in a script but I’d prefer a simpler way. Are there any methods to do what I want without using system.tag.storeTagHistory? Is there any plan to allow this in future Ignition releases?
Duplicate the tag and name it with a 6hr on the end?
Wouldn’t that create a new tagpath in the sqlth_te table? My goal is to use the same tagpath in the historian.
