Exchange of tag values between providers

Hi,
I have a question how to exchange tags between providers?
For example: I have Memory tag in provider 1 and I want to refer to it in another provider. There is another tag in another provider. Is it possible to do this? I have tried different ways but they do not work.
Purpose: I would like to have a tag value in one place (global prov) for expression conditions in other providers

First provider:

Second provider and reference tag (Uncertain):
Source - [Ignition_IO_01_00_Global_Provider]Pyranometer_Threshold

Also expression:
Expression - {[Ignition_IO_01_00_Global_Provider]Pyranometer_Threshold}

Best regards

This advice doesn't seem relevant to what he's asking at all.

I must have misunderstood the whole question. I'll delete and watch with interest.

I just want to copy the tag value from one tag provider to another. Let's say it will be some memory tag from prov. no.1 to prov. no.2. For some reason I can't load tags between providers

What version are you using? I just set up an expression tag in one provider that references a memory tag in another and there is no issue.

Version: 8.1.20 (b2022082313)

Is the "global" provider a local/standard provider or a remote provider?

The ones above are remote providers of my Ignition IO server but I can't do it on local prviders either - logging into project IO. In remote provider I have the ability to access read and write tag in IO providers

I think you need to call support and see if they can find a problem with your setup or get a bug report started.

Ok I understand that this is just my case and it works correctly in your designer. I will look further in the settings maybe I can find the configuration responsible for this

Was this issue ever resolved? If so what was the fix?

Tags can be connected by references inside one IO if you want to connect it between different providers you need to add a remote gateway. Remember that if you configure a tag using a binding from another gateway the path must be appropriate. I made a mistake just in binding.
