I have a template built in an Ignition 8.0 project that I would like to bring into an Ignition 7.9 project. Is this possible? I am guessing it is not, but wanted to check.
Maybe you could copy the raw xml and paste it into a new template instance?
Otherwise I believe you could copy paste the objects from one designer to the other but you have to add in the template and custom properties on the new template instance in 7.9
This is not supported. Copy paste from one designer to the other might work, assuming you haven’t done anything in 8.0 that’s not supported in 7.9.
