I am new to Ignition and I have encountered a question when working with the tags,
Create a UDT with multiple OPC tags that make up its structure. Inside the UDT structure, I added an expression tag in which I perform a calculation to have a specific value, which I want to use to define the OPC item path of the different OPC tags that make up the structure, but I get a configuration error,
first, try to place the name of the expression tag and since it did not work,
try to place the path of the expression tag but it still did not work.
I know that you can create parameters in the UDT to later be used when declaring the OPC item path. But it’s not what I’m looking for. Also, note that within the options shown when selecting a parameter is the option of tag name and path tag but I don’t know how to use them.
Is it possible to do the aforementioned?
