I'm trying importing a project with a .zip file but the views of perspective not look in designer. How can I know exactly the version this project was developed with just the .zip file?
Are there any errors in the output console in the designer?
Can you share your project export with our support team?
Where did you obtain the project file from? What version of Ignition is your designer?
Was there a solution to this I am having a similar issue?
Hello, same issue here. Zip file has everything in it, but Designer can't see or import 'views' and 'style-classes'. Once done import, views in Designer are showing as folders.

Could it be because project name got changed, and desktop Gateway did not pick it up right away? This morning, I redid export and import, somehow it's working now.
In my case, the project that i was trying import was developed using a git repository so import/export don't work for this specific project, i don't know the reason.
Well it does, you just have to organise the contents of the zip into the structure of a project backup
