Failed to Validate Certificate 7.9.9

Using 7.9.9.

Last week a customer who is using this version started getting the error when trying to launch the client "Failed to validate certificate. This application will not be executed"

Their IT was able to get it running again but going to the Java Contrl Panel -> Last tab. There was an option that was checked - Both CRLs and OSCP to Certificate Revokation List (CRLs). Second for the Perform signed code certificate revocation checks on tehy switched it to Do not check (not recommended).

This all started happening about a week or so ago, I wonder if it has something to do with it being an older version of java. The gateway computer does have internet access.

It is working right now but they don't want to leave it this way given the (not recommended) warning on the Do not check option. What is the recommended way to handle this?

Use Native Client Launcher :man_shrugging:

Perhaps your certificates have expired. Are they self-signed?
