Failing to open designer for new project

I'm having an issue getting the designer to open up on a new project. I found the gateway no problem and when I click open designer it starts to download but then fails part of the way through. I'll paste a screenshot of the log below. It's a checksum error. But the file it references isn't always the same. It seems like its failing at different points, which leads me to believe it could be network related. I am accessing a server in another state, so I suspect it's related to our company's network security/vpn

I'm on Designer 1.1.44 and Ignition 8.1.44

Any suggestions?

Whenever this issue or one like it pops up it's basically always this. You need to get your IT involved, there's not much we can do to help.
