Fanuc FOCAS - LASER data

Anyone ever found a way to access the LASER data available via Focas from a Fanuc 31i-B controller with LASER control?

I haven’t found anybody to have a solution that has support for the LASER data. I’m to the point of having to write my own solution, and that isn’t on my list of things I want to do.

Sorry for asking the obvious but have you tried fanucs FASOPC server? We use it to serve CNC control data to ignition.

I’m fine with obvious. Yes - we have. According to Fanuc support, the LASER calls are not supported in FASOPC.

Sorry to hear. Doesn’t surprise me. They barely support OPC :)P Is the laser data in the accessible in the PMC?
