I understand that 8 support sso federtation however I cant seem to where to import and export metadata.
To which type of external Identity Provider do you want to integrate? OpenID Connect is already implemented. SAML will be coming in the near future.

The SAML 2.0 IdP Type is now available in beta builds as of 3/2. See the following post for more information: SAML 2.0 IdP Type Implemented
