v8.0.5 is currently in RC1: is the journal synchronization included?

No. Currently the feature is going through final QA checks before being merged - it should be available in an 8.0.6 nightly “soon”, unless there’s something critically wrong and we have to push it past 8.0.6.

Any word on 7.9? We cannot upgrade to 8.0 for a variety of reasons. Is this possible to use on a full Ignition Gateway?
